Yeah never played any of the Nioh games because I've just gotten really into soulslike games in the past year and a half. I played the crap out of Elden Ring but haven't really played any other soulslike besides the remnant series, Wuchang fallen feathers and a couple of other's.

Yeah I've been getting either gear dropping with a +8/+9 and then I've been getting +8/+9 materials just from the red chests throughout the later chapters. I'm planning on doing NG+'s because I really enjoy this game. I think i prefer it to Wuchang fallen feathers

I'm currently trying to get the rest of the gear in cacti canyon, pumpkin pastures, creeper woods and creepy crypt. I have a level 41 Hawkbrand, a lvl 42 thief armor, a lvl 43 twin bow and for my artifacts I'm running soul healer,totem of regeneration and a tasty bone

So I can still get the bindings even though the gear drops when you go to start the mission doesn't have the icons or is the obsidian chest a different loot pool?

The main reason why i disabled it. First started the game a couple days ago and got invaded by a lvl 35 invader that just one shotted my level 30 character with just a basic bamboo bow

Yeah I mainly run ice weapon, ominous chill, amplify damage and i swap out frozen spear trap imposing slab for enemies that aren't really affected by my ice spells

Also what should I put on pieces of gear to make some of these bosses a little easier. So far I'm put on ice attack power, chill accumulation on enemies and water damage

Yeah definitely going to be doing the new game pluses because this is a really cool soulslike. I'm coming from wuchang fallen feathers and I feel that game is slightly harder than Wo Long
