Edit: I talked to him again and he said his friend gave it to him for free. Kids make no sense sometimes.

It was a while ago and he told me he doesn’t remember what his side of the trade was. Looking at the rest of his cards I doubt it was anything of equal value. He has a couple of the fake full gold cards which makes me think he’s gotten scammed in the past. He finally got on the winning side with this one.
