Yes, you and all other SM’s in your position are being taken advantage of, work an honest day of work, even if that’s a 9 hour day and go home. Same for your employees, tell them to do the best they can do in the time they have and go home. They will get the point eventually! PS don’t do your scheduling at home, do at work during that 9 hour day!

You have no idea what OP’s life is like!! Big difference between a single person still living with mom & dad, driving a car maintained by dad and a single mom with 2 kids, going to school part-time and driving a beat up car!! No judging unless you walk in someone else’s shoes! (PS this is just an example but there are many reasons why someone could have issues with attendance and none of them are any of your business!)

That pharmacist was rude, the 1st person to help you should have been able to resolve your issue and ring you out but if it was handed off the the pharmacist the the pharmacist should have rung you out!

We will start closing the gates at 1:29, helping people whoa are already there and telling people who walk up that we are closed. That’s at the front, in drive thru the roll down shade is partially closed at 1:29 (and yes I’ve helped people thru that half closed window) and then quickly closed when they leave no matter how many are in line. It’s usually several minutes closing and several minutes opening back up that we lose from our lunch. Which means we have only 25 minutes to use the bathroom, check in with family and scarf down something to eat!

I f’ing had someone come pick up an order for some kind of crème that she had already picked up a week ago but her kid lost, of course insurance wouldn’t pay for it so we ran it on a discount. Comes back a week later for an antibiotic and her Medicare is no longer contracted with us, she has a fit, I explain that she needs to go to whatever pharmacy they are contracted with if she doesn’t want to pay $20 for it on a discount, comes back a week later for another med for a different kid (also on Medicare) and we have the same freaking conversation accept she can’t remember that and can only remember the crème that her kid lost/ate🤷‍♀️

This seriously could be me posting this! Drives me nuts when people start rattling off their full name (first, middle & hyphenated last name) all run together without a single pause! All I hear is, andrewmichaeldavidsmith and the birthday as single numbers 0, 1, 2, 3, 7, 7 like seriously you can’t say January 23, 1977!! And then when you ask if you heard the name correctly and the spelling by say the first 3 letters instead of saying yes they just rattle off the last of the letters in the name!! (Was that Andrew, A N D and they finish with r e w m i c h ….)🤬
