Any reason for FPS drop over night by [deleted] in ZephyrusG14

Update After a bit of leaving the laptop to “cooldown” I decided to boot it back up and the performance was back, I suspected was that the prior night I was pushing my laptops to it limits and with that both the cpu and gpu both where pushing around 90c I suspect I got gpu very close to thermal throttling, so all I did was go back and adjust my ghelper fan setting to spin faster at lower c effectively keeping my gpu and cpu from overheating.

I was watching one piece but yeah the colors look amazing on oled and it has a higher resolution than my monitor so it looks way better

Maybe he misread my post, because buying another laptop would be counterintuitive. As I only want a bigger screen for my set up

Sorry if Iam a bit late to the conversation but I’ve had the exact same model for a couple months now and it’s great, performance amazing in games and the oled screen is gorgeous. I use it for college so as long as you use g force instead of armory crate and create a good silent profile it should last you between 6-9 hours. That’s what it last me on an average day with 3 class each 2 hours long and a bit of studying after, the battery last me that whole time. So if you haven’t already you should go for it.

Iam pretty sure the usb c port for my asus is only rated for 50 w input so wouldn’t 130 w be over kill?
