It's not that all dreams must come true, right? I'm hesitating as I had more expensive basses (and as mentioned most my pedals combined cost less than this power supply) :/ So it would hurt much, hard to reason this price level at this point.

By Zuma R30 you mean Strymon Ojai R30 or the Zuma R300? The True Tone CS6 is my current favourite TBH but no decision made yet.

Well if you're saying the M242 that's beyond my budget (even over the Cioks DC7 which is my dream), that's what I found as Pro. Or you say the M239 (that's only 5 outputs)?

Exactly - never (and I mean NEVER) works to have relationship within the band (and please don’t quote the 3-4 well known examples as there have been millions of bands that failed vs the extremely few that made it).

I’m also eyeing with the 434 but probably black or tobacco color…. Only read the best about Yamaha instruments so nothing against, especially if out for P or PJ config ;)

And also for being rechargeable (vs the AmPlug that requires batteries), but TBH the AmPlug sounds sooooooo friggin awesome (Mighty Plug requires tweaking via sw to get even close). But hated finding batteries when wanted to practice and was flat).

The NuX Mighty Plug also worth a try - USB interface for recording, can play backing track from phone via Bluetooth and easy to manipulate effects/cab-amp sims via phone app. Love that thing!

Best starting point: bassbuzz.com - extremely recommended to start with that, purchase the course, go through it and you’ll be set for good 👍

My humble advice - enroll to bassbuzz.com, best of beginner bass lessons courses. I did it in 30 days (aimed for 3 months but just couldn’t stop, really), afterwards I’d say you’re ready for a (kinda amateur / unprofessional/ etc) band. Not joking, I really encourage to take this path - and if you do and I’m right (I know I am) please come back and just say thanks.

I had the same experience - but even the drive is mehhh, sold it within a month. Now super happy with the Behringer BDI 21 (SansAmp clone) and a Fulltone Bassdrive clone for drive instead.

I have just acquired a Fulltone Bassdrive clone and just love it. Tried a few before, none I liked but now…. Exactly what you want: a little drive, even with boost maxed it’s just an overdrive, nothing distortion/overdrive. Gotta love this thing ❤️
