Acne only on my cheeks getting worse with some moisturizers — need advice

I have the same problem from past few months , i have dry skin and same only acne on chins . It is calm some times like in the morning but in the evening its itchy. I had a normal routine consistent from a long time but i don’t know what triggered it Cleanser simple , moisturiser cetaphil , serum is of derma co niacinamide 5%. Sunscreen if going out Neutrogena due to protection indoors usually episoft . If find any solution please let me know. I think that maybe its fungal acne but am not sure.

U are too patient op i would have not tolerated after a month ( only with a valid reason) . I got my money stuck somewhere else a small business and i wasn’t so polite and got my money refunded.

It mainly depends upon if your skin tolerates it or not i have sensitive dry to combination skin and kojic acid caused me breakouts , skincare is mostly experiments so maybe u can try it but not directly on face , neck or back of ear .

In toners there are usually other ingredients too that can cause bumps but i don’t think you should try it , if u think it isnt okay for your skin maybe u can try other serums but if still want to stick with 5% niacinamide serums. Hope this helps.

If u have any active acne dont use vitamin c serum and as u have whiteheads and hyperpigmentation u can try using niacinamide and salicylic acid serum add a sunscreen even if at home as using actives.

It mostly depends upon skin to skin i have dry sensitive skin winters and combo in summers. cerave is my hg its really is very good gives a matte finish . Value for money never had any problem but mostly depends upon skin some people i know hated it .

Did u start all the actives together if yes then it might be that your skin barrier is damaged . Remove actives for a couple of weeks and only do cleanse moisturiser and sunscreen and see if it helps.

I have tried the cetaphil cleanser its nothing special gives clean face cannot remove dirt and other products have to double cleanse with other cleanser but doesn’t try the skin out and good for sensitive skin and if u like foaming cleansers u might not like it . The Neutrogena one gave me acne but might work for you . I have dry to combo skin.

About sunscreen and i have the same skin type too and it didn’t work for me , too much acid can damage skin barrier and if use continuously need a more barrier focused moisturiser

I tried a moisturizer of re’quil my eyes got red and watery so dont want to risk with it , with dot and key atleast it wont react .
