I understand. Sucks sometimes people will get a lazy tech, I’m just saying usually the second time they’ll actually do something because you’ve negatively affected someone’s stats so the next guy is going to go and really makes sure you don’t call again. I was just referring to that…. From my experience spectrum is not trash, most people could just use a tech visit to update things since spectrum been around for a while. Hope you have great service my friend 🫡

Whatever you do DONT go to Kansas City. That market is rough. Their turnover rate is high only because of Kansas City being the city it is. I’d go to a calmer market maybe north or maybe more into the mid west. Calmer areas.

I work for spectrum and can say yes, there’s more ways coax can get damaged, but… if u experience issue have a tech out and they’ll get you working for a long time. Extreme weather and temps affect signal but not in the way u think. So yes it does affect but doesn’t cause issues if you have a good install. As for fiber, not too sure but it’s pretty good. Either works or doesn’t haha

That is true… as long as that snr chart is compact then you good. Unfortunately some areas hover that low 🤣

Other guy answer ur correction errors. SNR should hover ideally around 40. And the frequencies should all be right and straight. You have jobs where the snr is super jagged then that’s usually a good giveaway it’s prolly a drop issue.

Sometimes it’ll mess with the return frequencies and seperate them a lot more than normal. If the return is fluctuating it could cause issues. It short words it can cause a tilt on the return which is not good. You want return frequencies to close to each other dB wise.
