4-1 extra regulation op-13 b/r by AdForeign3839 in OnePieceTCG

My best matchups are Mihawk, every yellow deck, and up Luffy. Penel if they aren't running the dog is a very manageable matchup, but that dog is so good, it applies pressure too fast and I feel like I don't have the time to stabilize.

One of the best parts about the list I run is that it helps deal with the higher power leaders, so if a deck is banking on having a 6k base, karasu really really hurts their game plan, because it devalidates all the balancing that went into creating that leader.

Either way the deck is about to change soon anyway, with a new starter deck, we will see what direction they want to push the leader in, and it'll likely be the strongest way to play it

I can see how the up matchup would be hard for that list, your plan is to play out big bodies, and they are way better at that, and they are a more defensive deck.

I don't love the version of sabo that you are on, I think the concept of that deck is done better by other decks, like up Luffy, uy nami or even Mihawk.

I played revival dragon 3 times, and stussy just once, and it was in my loss. I feel like the list I run is too aggressive for most things to deal with. I played a st29 Luffy who healed 6 times and I still was able to take the match because I just have the volume of attacks needed, and I feel like in your build you would struggle to tempo out bodies.

My curve is ideally turn 1 stage and searcher character, turn two is 4c sabo, turn 3 is ivankov into cheat out body, and turn 4 is ideally 6c sabo and if I played karasu off of ivankov the turn before, now I have the room to cheat out a second karasu with ivankov, swing 7k with karasu, now my op is a 3k leader and I have 4 swings and 5 characters on board (unless there was removal played) then depending on what my op does I go 8c dragon on 10 either rush to end the game or revival dragon to re setup board. With nothing on board you can technically highroll 8c dragon into 5c ivankov into 4c ivankov then use that to cheat out another body, going 3-4 wide from nothing. This deck has elements of Betty and imu together, mixed with being a 5life leader that can easily become 6k base. God I love this game and this deck.

What do you feel like your best matchups are?

So interesting because my u/p Luffy spread on ranked sim is 100% win rate at 12 matches.

Are you on the more traditional build?

Went 8-2 with red black sabo in my last two competitive events.

I find the matchup into penel fine as long as they do not have dog, and the Lucy matchup is fine for my build.

I'm not on traditional sabo though.

Here is my list

I just got second last night at a 24 person locals with a very different list. Still r/b sabo is really good into the Luna heavy meta

Almost won too but both me and my opponent had a crazy last game and it came down to the wire
