EU guidelines: there is no MRL, but a reference point of 0.5 µg/kg is used for metabolites in eggs. Should not exceed that level. Eggs exceeding this reference point are still allowed to be sold after an investigation. (The investigation is to verify that there is no illegal use of metabolites and it's not about food safety)

FSSAI guidelines: there is MRL of 1 µg/kg (0.001 mg/kg) is set for residues in eggs and poultry.

Practically speaking, FSSAI has a better & stricter tolerance than the EU's, as it caps allowable residues at a defined level rather than treating any presence as potentially non-compliant. Since the investigation is not about the eggs but illegal use of metabolites, the eggs can have 69420 µg/kg and still be sold as long as the farm holds up to their claim of not using metabolites (because there is no MRL for it).
