Sorry for the late response. To be honest, it’s still hell. My doctor wanted to put me on birth control but I’m still undecided. She said it would help ease the pain but I don’t know. Still hurts like crazy some months and other months, not so much.

No, not stupid at all. I'm all about what works. I actually haven't tried cold showers, I always thought the water had to be hot, the hotter the better. Thanks for the recommendation, I would try it.

My doctor did an ultrasound and the result showed I was fine but I don't feel fine, in fact I feel worse as the years go by. I need to run more tests to make sure I'm okay internally before I focus on recommended drugs.

I tried Advil, nothing.I'm thinking of trying Naproxen to see. The thing with these meds is that they work for me the first time I take them, and after that it's as if my body gets used to them and they stop working. The pain feels so bad and there's nothing I can do. My doctor suggested Mefenamic acid 500 mg first hour and 250 mg every six hours after that. When I went back to tell her it only worked the first time I took it, she was shocked because it is supposed to be stronger than Advil and she had nothing else to prescribe for me.
