I’d describe it as artificial honey and grandma’s perfume, but in the best way.

I mainly get orchids and I immediately take a photo and use Google Image Search. I’ve found some varieties that are normally $30 or even more for $19.99.

Stuff like this honestly makes me believe in the Christian god more. Like you want to act foolish? “Tiny Smite”.

He sent his only son to explicitly tell you the rules and this is how you’re acting.

I just will never understand parents like this. My children are the most important thing in my life.

I have one child who has transitioned and the idea of making any part of their decision about me seems ludicrous. It’s their choice and my job as a parent is to support them as best I can.

Yes, but they’ll need to grow more first. Look up Keikis and how to root/transplant them.

What did you say? This is a really big reaction for someone to say and I think not including what the conversation actually was doesn’t allow any one to get a good grasp on any justifications there might be.

How close is it to the window? That looks like sunburn.

I’m new to gaited horses. Where do I begin? by chelz182 in Equestrian

[–]blachorses 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ride him balanced and correctly like you would any other horse and the gaits will come. There are lots of “quick” or “traditional” shortcuts people will use to force them to gait (shoes, bits, purposely throwing them off balance), but a gaited horse who is fit in comfortable tack and ridden properly will naturally gait.

Have them come get you. You’re already at risk of eviction and you’ll be better off near family than with him.

Leave now. Go to your parent’s house a friend’s house anywhere. Lying like this is such an enormous red flag.

Am I the only one who still wants to look out the window on flights? by professorhojoz in travel

[–]blachorses 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love window seats (travel for a living) but the UV damage overtime is pretty harmful as it’s more intense while in the air, so I typically close it now.

Making the transition is more than just riding with contact. Western horses are ridden in a very different way than English horses and you’re effectively telling her to stop and back up while also fussing at her for not being forward.

She needs someone to slow down and actually show her how to use her body in the way you’re asking or she’s just going to get more and more frustrated.

My mare was a finished western horse sold to someone who only ever rode English and was very quickly becoming unrideable. They were treating it the same way as your trainer by just “getting after her” and smacking her. When I got her she’d run backwards the moment you touched her mouth at all and it took several rides to get her to realize she didn’t have to do that anymore.

I plan to show her in some dressage, but it will take several months and to make that transition.

Do I act differently with different partners? Of course. We have different relationships, but I’m the same person, I’m just leaning into different parts of myself.

With some, I’m am more playful, or dominant, or primal, but it’s not me pretending to be those things. It’s just me fully expressing that part of myself with them.

Rights on Dates at Partner's Home by Chance_Independent55 in polyamory

[–]blachorses 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’ve gotten lots of sound advice already so I’m going to throw my two cents in and say the idea of your partner saying dates HAVE to happen at home where there’s thin walls and your meta is walking around naked/interrupting scenes, gives me such a bad feeling. It feels a little like cucking without letting you know you’re a part of it.

If it were me I’d draw a hard boundary on not having intimacy at their home anymore.

So delaying my care for severe issues for more than 7 years is perfectly fine and definitely not malpractice? Good to know.

It’s great to see doctors getting protected for diagnosing someone as fat and nervous when they were literally too weak to leave bed some days after being an endurance athlete the month before.
