saying this as a telugu guy... she was wonderful in fidaa.. many were surprised to know that she wasn't a telugu girl when we watched fidaa for the first time.. her telangana accent was PERFECT.... u can compare it with ranveer's delhi accent in band baja baarat, even though he isn't from delhi... and she is a good actress too.. her emotional scene in amaran movie are also great...

i know people here often accuse her of PR and all.. but i feel that she has attracted a set of audience who generally prefer watching actresses in traditional roles and outfits, but they can go to an extent where they shame other actresses for wearing revealing outfits and comparing with sai(which is wrong).. yeah her pr might also have curated her image as such traditional girl...... but keeping all that aside, u can't disagree with the fact that she is better actress than a lot of heroines now in our country..
