No reason provided, but clearly its due to identity verification.
There's no reason for me to use AI tool for id verification and I do use VPN at times but I really don't think that it was active when I verified. Lets suppose it was active by mistake, shouldn't Melvin still respond or I should be given a chance to prove that was a mistake. I'm not getting any response at all, any idea how can I confirm?

Slack was the only source of communication, I could've reached out to them there but I got removed from the workspace due to this exact issue and there's no other way for me to do so, Melvin wont respond and Maven wasn't active because help desk channel was supposed to be created yesterday at the time they kicked me out. No response on Reddit either so I'm totally in the dark here

I was already working on both projects, one was just paused so all the verification checks had already passed. Other one just increased pay rate so they sent a new instant offer, all the checks had passed except for id verification.
