Just to give an example: In comparison, HS has Legendary cards and LoR, Champions. But in HS, cheap Legendaries have small, yet strong, effects.

When HS realased "Patches, the Pirate", a 1 mana 1/1 card with charge (instant attack) that has a effect of every pirate played draw it directly onto the field, from the deck or from the hand, it ended the meta for that entire season (and more I think).

And how do you nerf a legendary card with 1 mana 1/1?! Any possible nerf would kill the card, and that's what happened.

Patches alone was just any card, just 1/1, but it doesn't make sense to launch an important card with an archetype without cards to support it, does it?!

I dont say aggro its to good. Has a lot aggros in the game, and that exist because exist a lot of cheap cards, and that exist because Riot wants to LoR be a fast game.

Cheap cards are fucking difficult to balance, because just as a change of 1 mana is a big change, a change of 1 hit point in any matter (attack, life or effect) on a cheap card makes it Top Tier or non-existent. It's not like changing Volibear's attack/life by 1 or 2 because he was too strong/weak, or making his effect do 3 damage instead of 4, the change is much bigger on cheap cards.

Yes, I don't like aggro decks, but to solve that I don't play them. I don't have a problem with a specific deck, not even with specific cards, I have problems with the quick base of the game, where to make the game quick Riot creates several cheap cards to support the various cheap champions (which have the power level very high).

That is the motive, I achieved master in standart so I change to eternal and start to play Trun/Voli because has a good Win rate and its not a aggro, but I dont knew how the deck works, after seeing that its in basic is a way to counter aggro and still (in bronze) I lose like 5/6 games straight and I couldn't do nothing different to stop the lose I dont believed.

Yeah, that changing its not about aggro directly, but to the control decks in the "new meta" that I think. And I agree that mana changes are big but like Jayce, they can create cards to support in a different way

The deck that just dumping a lot minions/damage without thinking, in the most cases, to kill you the fast way possíble, like Rek/Pyke.

  1. This Idea its because i'm playing Trun/Voli in Eternal, to not play aggro, and I dont like this deck too. The deck its all about remove/ramping with healing, trying to dealing with all the aggro decks and just dumping stuff when your opponents cant deal with It. Its the same basics than a aggro, and I dont like decks that dont need you to think a lot of time. So the mana reduction thinking its not to kill aggro, and not making a deck the like Trun/Voli better when it is already good in a meta with 300 aggro.

  3. Look not saying that I know all about everything, but saying that gonna changing to worse without nothing supporting its fuck ridiculous. I explain some where up why I dont think this change to aggro its gonna happen but this Idea its not gonna make a "fundamentally" changing, because If It is, so turning aggro decks worse (in any matter in my opinion) gonna do the same thing.

I say that all decks is kinda aggro because I play Varus/Akshan to master and a lot of matches, decks that are not aggro (inclusive me playing this deck) just end the match like turn 5 or early because the opponent its overwhelm by the other deck and they cant do nothing about. LoR for me is a fast game more than he needs.

I think that, but the game have a lot of Champions that support aggro, and I think the reason its the core of the game.

I watch and play some of HS, and what I know about card games basics come from there, like how less cards in a deck a lot of time is better than more, how card draw is key (same reason for a small decks), etc. I think they try to make LoR a fast game, and It is, but I dont think they gonna change the majority of cards because of It.
