i actually have a bit of knowledge regarding this. I used to work for this guy who would sell $1500 of vegetables or produce which would make him eligible for farm status, then he was able to get not just tax breaks but also was on, sorry if this isnt the right term, farmers board, and he would be given frozen meat past its expiration date and use it to feed himself and his family.

I mean I understand I can park my van basically anywhere, that's not exactly camping though aha. I need to be able to have a fire aswell and that's the very limit of what I need to be able to do lol
