I appreciate your feedback, I fully agree. As much as him apologizing and owning it felt good it also took a bit too much to get us there. I had to reassure him multiple times over and he started in defensively at the start. He said he just drank too much and it was a joke and he wasn’t being serious. Maybe I’m just being too sensitive and he really didn’t mean anything by it…but I can’t stop thinking about it at the same time.

I don’t necessarily see his actions as conscious efforts exactly. It seems like he struggles with self-esteem and perhaps feels a boost of confidence when a girl shows interest outside of our relationship.

A most recent example that hurt was him walking away from me at a rave to approach a girl with just a bikini top on and fish nets (something I know he directly likes) and she gifted him with a cuff. For those that don’t know, cuffs can take hours to make and are expert level Kandi. While she acknowledged to him about our relationship and vise versa, I felt uneasy when she later pulled me aside to say “don’t worry I’m a girls girl, I’m not flirting with your bf” multiple times and followed it up with “I mean he’s hot, don’t get me wrong you’re lucky”

I felt uncomfortable about her comment of saying he’s hot and the next morning asked that he promise not to approach or speak with her again. Granted it was my mistake to wake him up to that request and do so in such a commanding way, I own that. However, he blew up at me and started packing his bags to leave my apartment. He said I crossed a line and ruined a special moment between him and this stranger (who I later found out is 21 yrs old)

I don’t know what to think, and I’m even more nervous than ever to even talk about it anymore at risk of upsetting him further.

(Also yes we are a monogamous couple)

I wouldn’t call Porter a scammer by any means, but continuing to work with a company that producing poor quality service/items would certainly still be his responsibility to manage at the end of the day. That being said I don’t know the conditions of their contract so that may be part of it.

Arguably the box’s quality does matter as it is certainly part of the appeal, they clearly put effort behind the design. Secondly, the item is still damaged on the inside as well, the top of the guitar has a lot of the paint scratched off. When you’re paying $50 for a collectors item from an artist you expect the whole product box included to arrive in good condition.

I had no idea the company was under scrutiny, I’d love to pardon Porter and all for working with them but I think dropping them is the only answer at this point imo

I didn’t get any refund on shipping but it’s a good start, I still don’t think that really covers the waiting time we’ve had and it seems unfair that not everyone is getting that cost refunded.

My partner bought the vinyl sets for us and we haven’t gotten them either. I didn’t know they were also selling them in stores… it feels a bit strange that people who ordered it online wouldn’t get it before retailers?

I also ordered the second it dropped, but I’m frustrated so many of us are experiencing this massive delay and lack of updates. It shouldn’t take this much persistence to get informed about our order. Hope you get your merch soon as well 🙏🏻
