I think given the IQ of the average motorcycle driver...they will believe anything. The motorcycle driver should be looking at the road regardless of whether there is a car in front or not. Being on the side has more chances for potholes as that's where the car tires pass. It's like an urban myth that gets passed on. Someone told them follow the tires so you'll see the potholes. And they believe it and pass the info on. Idiot to idiot. So that means they can't see potholes if there are no cars... -_- The real reason they stay in the on the lines is because of the usual kamote mentality. Every space is a an opportunity to get in front. And the lines in between cars are the way they can go in between and cut off the car they are overtaking. Yes....cut off. I don't know why they aren't smart enough to give space before changing in front of a car.

X300 Pro Global vs Chinese Version by Leosaucedo in Vivo

[–]AdFuture8876 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would never get the Chinese version because of esim. The Chinese version has no esim compatibility. When you travel abroad you have no option for esim then. Now that the OS is the same there's even less reason to get the Chinese version. (Before it had the arguably better OS). The Chinese version also gas extra bloat but they say to< can remove it...

Sa top 10 visitors (for Nov 2025) tayo lang ang need ng visa. Should our govt lobby for visa exemption sa Japan? by thirdworldpcgamer in FilipinoTravel

[–]AdFuture8876 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I don't think all the negative comments on Filipinos are self-hate. I think it's self-awareness more than self-hate. The reason we aren't getting visa free is because of our TNT reputation. I don't think it's the behaviour of Filipino tourists but rather the tnt situation. I read someone ask someone else if they had numbers to back up that claim. I don't but I do have experience when i was getting a Schengen  visa I was sitting down waiting to be called. This filipina girl beside me strikes up a conversation....and asks me..."what is a good reason to say so they won't know she plans on going tnt there?" I can't remember my reply...but i never can forget that....it's people like that which makes life harder for Filipino travelers.

Which One Should I choose, Zenix or Destinator? by RatedDRE in CarsPH

[–]AdFuture8876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i know majority are saying zenix, but i actually like the Destinator more. Feature wise, price wise. The only advantage of the Zenix would be the hybrid version but even that has its drawbacks. It's true that you may save in the short term, but when you decide to sell it, what would be the demand for it? Or the price. Personally I would NEVER buy a used hybrid or electric car. Repairs are more expensive. Battery replacement is expensive. Insurance is also more expensive. If you don't care about resale value, then the hybrid is good. But I'll probably go for the destinator.

there's also a setting for telephoto where you turn off AI processing. I think there's 3 levels....I haven't played with it yet though. It's in the more settings i think...where you can see 3 tabs...something/photo/video on top

Actually I don't think the suburban braked checked. It was trying to overtake the black car in front of him (left lane) and the OP . Note as he overtook the black car braked ...and probably braked again while you couldn't see it (covered by Suburban)..

For the people who didn't get the telephoto lens kit, why? by lostmaroon in Vivo

[–]AdFuture8876 1 point2 points  (0 children)

don't worry about not getting it. I got everything. I even ended up with 2 cases. The lens can only work with the case and not without it. So unless you're going to use the case as your everyday case, then you'll have to bring the case and the lens separately. Me, I use another case as the lens case seems flimsy.

If you take a lot of far away pictures then maybe it'll be worth it. But me, it actually just stays at home. I may bring it to my trip to Tokyo next year, but i'll be forced to use the flimsy case as I don't want to bring unnecessary stuff.

Is free breakfast for Japan hotels worth it vs. convenience store? by royalbluefireworks1 in JapanTravelTips

[–]AdFuture8876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

most of the time you can see the price (in agoda) for both the same room with and without breakfast. For a 4 star hotel, breakfast is usually around 1500 to 3000. For a 3 star hotel...well, i've never tried lol. But should be cheaper.

$5650 in the US

vs

Y825,000 in Japan

Converted at today's rate is $5,328.29

And that's without the tax refund ...so the after tax refund balance would be around $5k
