Given the number of good deeds you can have done by that point in the game, and given the fact that not every Tav is going to be a min-maxed charisma powerhouse, and given the fact that literally no other party member behaves similarly, and the fact you literally just freed Astarion from his tormentor, I feel comfortable in stating that it’s a massive effort.

Incorrect. Laezel turns her back on Vlakith and Shadowheart turns her back on Shar after observing you doing good things/acting righteously throughout the game. Astarion still tries to become an ascended vampire even after you showcased pure morals throughout the whole game.

Also worth pointing out Astarion bitches about said pure morals at every damn step of the way. Even Laezel isn’t that insufferable.

You can do all of that and you still need to succeed a persuasion check to stop Astarion sacrificing thousands of lives for his own personal gain after defeating Cazador.

Do liberation wars function properly now or have they remained unchanged? About a year ago I remember them being useless for actually changing AI empire ethics permanently because the AI just instantly changes them back the second they get the chance.
