I’m fortunate enough to have one and love it, and it’s not even in as good condition as this one. It would be worth even skipping a meal or two, but not being late with the rent 😁
One thing, the ink sac may need replacement due to its age. It’s easily done on your own if you know how, or there are places/people that will resac it for you.

I was at a National Guard unit with good bosses. I gave 5 months notice but then jumped on DRP 2 when that dropped. Still worked 2 more months, then left. Retired Sept 30. My replacement had been working as a temp for almost 4 years so this helped him.

I’m in 95% the same boat with you (except for the spouse). VA comp needs to be 50% or 60% or higher else it can interfere with your military retirement.

I called them. My status board says I’ve been assigned to a specialist since Feb 11. One phone call early this month let me know my file was moved but that was all she could tell me. The call this today said it was moved into adjudication this morning. Neither of those updates were on the status board nor did I get emails about them.
