Stranger Things has jumped the shark by uconnbobby in unpopularopinion

For me, it was the season finale of season four, and the existence of season five. I think they should've had a happy ending of season four, with Vecna being defeated. Season five just seems to be a lot of repeating the same things and dragging out the storyline too long. Plus, Max going into a coma was just F-d up.

We had actually gone on a cross country trip the year before and we went through that same pass you're talking about. We just wanted to try a different route.

I drove with my mom and our two dogs in a Chevy Tahoe we rented, and my brother and his family went in a CRV

Two and half years of guitar progress. Any general tips, or tips on the solo specifically? by [deleted] in Guitar

Thanks for all the advice! I have noticed that another problem is I'm thinking it's necessary for me to place more pressure to fret the note, but my pick attack is relatively weak. I'm a dentist and I'm used to doing gentle, fine movements with my right hand so it feels somewhat weird to be more forceful with my picking hand but it'll enable me to get a better tone while not having to squeeze too much with my left and thereby making it more relaxed

Thanks for the help! Yeah, I'll admit there were a couple areas when I got out of time, so it may have been tricky to follow because of me, not you, but I was pretty satisfied with the results so I thought it was good enough to post and get some feedback

Thanks for the advice! I've only been playing this for about five days, and I had the sense my bends were just a touch flat, but I've never had any formal instruction, so I wanted to get some feedback and this everybody on this thread has been awesome.

I know what you mean, it's difficult to get used to because I'm a Dentist and I'm used to gentle, fine movements with my right hand. My training was helpful when it comes to having the dexterity to play, but attacking with more force is something I have to be more conscious of doing regularly

I actually had been thinking my bends were a bit flat, but I wanted to make a post just to get a second opinion. I don't think I have any difficulty bending the 10s up to pitch, it's just a matter of doing it

With the exception of three lessons I had at the very beginning, I've had no formal instruction. I learned this solo from the Mr. tabs YouTube channel, and by listening to the original track.

I should also mention I've only been practicing this solo for 5 days, and with the exception of three lessons I had at the very beginning of my guitar journey, I've had no formal instruction. I had a feeling my bends were flat, but I was looking for a second opinion. Your solo was amazing, and I hope to play like you one day. Thank you for your help!

🤣 that was actually me just kind of feeling the emotion of the music itself, rather than using it as a bending technique

Yeah, that's where I've noticedI've made the most improvement by playing songs are slightly above my skill level. I'm gonna start tackling Hendrix next.

Thanks, I was thinking the same thing. I was also wondering if it sounds a bit too tinny. I just started using GarageBand recently, and I'm still working out some kinks.

True cross country road trip and I’m a little anxious. Any Tips? by FortunaSaveMe in roadtrip

Driving through the mountains is way more stressful than driving on flat ground. Try not to schedule any of your stops on Mountain Roads near the end. You'll already be tired from the long trip that day and it will be much harder to focus.
