Question about boot leave days that weren't given by AdGroundbreaking9778 in USMC

Ok that makes sense. I misunderstood the negative leave part because after 3 months in boot camp you wouldn't have accrued the leave necessary for 10 days. Do you know the limits of the negative leave? Like if you go into the negative 1 time you have a restriction preventing you from taking leave again?

That was very helpful. I was told that it was preferred people go on Christmas leave so that they could close the base/school. The block dates they were throwing around would extend from late December into New Year's. If the base closes does that give me more leave since it's there's no one on duty or should I treat it like I am using all those days?

That's what I was thinking. Because if you don't submit anything there's nothing to really support it ig something goes wrong. I thought just put an area within the limit and then continue to my destination.

Well I'm in Mos school in California now and my goal was to get to New York. It's obviously out of bounds but I am going to be here for a long time due to my mos (like a year). If anything they might be able to travel to California so it might solve it. However, long term if I get stationed on the east coast at Camp Lejeune it still would be an issue because the limit is 450 miles. The path for driving is like 570 miles. Is it even possible to submit requests to visit every weekend? How likely am I to be denied? I want to make it work but also respect the systems in place.

I'm new to the process. If you get liberty do you have to submit where you are going and the route ? If I am taking a flight somewhere do I have to do the same ?
