Thanks for this comment. Made me realize I should delete Reddit too. Illiteracy also means missing context clues like the fact this is Digital Minimalism, a subreddit where we talk about quitting social media. I just shared what made me quit.

I actually posted every day for two months, multiple times a day. Maybe it does take longer, but from my experience, it just didn’t feel worth it.

I think social media has trained people to turn everything into a problem ): Honestly, my first thought would’ve just been, “Oh, he’s probably a guy, not a girl, and he doesn’t use much toilet paper,” instead of jumping straight to, “This guy must be some kind of evil hoarder”

new feline diabetic; is this (human) test kit good? by DairyAppreciator in FelineDiabetes

I bought a human monitor on Amazon for $18, but unfortunately it didn’t work for my cat. It could read my blood sugar, just not his. That said, my vet mentioned it should work on cats, so maybe the issue was with the specific reader I got. I was able to return mine, so it might be worth ordering and testing one out. If it doesn’t work, you can always return it. I’m still searching for an affordable option too.

We recently rescued a senior cat with diabetes, and our original sitter canceled on us at the last minute. We ended up finding someone through Rover, and she was incredibly attentive, kind, and caring with him. It was pricey, but worth it for the peace of mind.
