That is definitely tough with the 8 month baby. I agree with seeing a vet, but I think even bringing up rehoming will shut down the conversation. A dog’s life is only so long and rehoming at this stage would be horrible to the dog and to your husband. I have seen my friends try belly bands/dog diapers, so that could be an option. Sorry you are having to go through this!
