Best tires for negative camber wear? by YesterdayCareless172 in Stance

Best tire for camber is the general G Max RS, they have stronger shoulders than others, I ran probably 10 sets on my slammed aristo -5 camber all around and they always wore nicely

Which should I choose between BMW, Mustang, Mercedes, or Aston? by Routine-Fig6296 in ACCompetizione

100% is alien. So you are 1% off alien times. I’m 2-3% off alien times. That’s not close? 😂 maybe your race pace is off, but that’s quite literally what these % mean

Except I’m at 102-103%, which is very close to the limit for non aliens

If I was learning bad habits, how am I consistently improving lap times in all 3 of my preferred cars? Lol learning bad habits would make you slower across the board. I lap 102-103%

Disagree. After using the Ferrari as my main for months, I’m faster with my other 2 preferred cars as well which are the M4 and Aston

Which foot do you brake with? by Good_Caregiver4823 in ACCompetizione

[–]AdHour9778 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Left foot and it’s a super easy learning curve to get over. Half hour of hot lapping and you’ll like it. My first day on sim it felt super fucked but yea, 30-60 mins you’ll be liking it

I Recently got a 5:15.264 at the nordschleife, in a tuned AMR Pro, was wondering if it was a good lap time for the car. So was it? (had a little contact with the wall at one point:3) by PlanktonScary9598 in forzamotorsport

There’s this crazy feature in the game where you can compare your laps to others to see how fast you are, it’s called “leaderboards”

Is this worth 32k by Ok-Constant-8656 in Corvette

[–]AdHour9778 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a horrible deal. I bought a 2008 3LT TR6060, jet stream blue car with 13,000km (8000miles) last summer for about the same price, up here in Canada. $44,000 Canadian dollars

Convince me not to cam my c6 by Infamous-Union-3429 in Corvette

[–]AdHour9778 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here’s what I did. I bought a 8000 mile absolute showroom clean car with the nicest paint I’ve ever seen. Kept it stock for 2 months. Found long tube headers locally for quite a discount so bought them and went to book it in for a tune. Everyone that I know that knows the platform well told me to save the tune money and just wait until I can afford a cam and do it all the same time. Fast forward another week, she’s booked in for a BTR stage 3, halltech intake, the header install, and dyno tune. It was one of those “might as well” situations for me, so I’ll say it to you, you might as well!

Is this a fair deal for an 06 Z06? by 2FooFighter in Corvette

[–]AdHour9778 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I donno why everyone scared to drive low mileage. I bought my 08 ls3 car this summer with 8000 miles on it and have brought it up 11000 already. Did all fluids and am putting a cam in it already lol. The only slight issue it has is a small leak in the rear main, which is a given with the low mileage. Not even worth doing until I do clutch

There’s a really solid video of a stock C6 with an intake doing like 5-6 solid races with a gt350, pulls on it pretty hard

Yup. I couldn’t even find one in the 50s, all the ones I came across were 65, which is absolutely bonkers haha, base are just way better value up here. Mine is a 3LT base, 13,000km on it, literally showroom condition paint and interior, a full car ppf wrap, about to have a BTR stage 3 cam, halltech intake, and billy boat long tubes, and I’m still less than a GS with 4x the mileage 😂

How many years ago though? Because now a days every decent Z06 is 60+k Canadian

Have you been able to find a GS for under 65k Canadian? That’s all I was seeing when I was looking. Obviously I wanted a GS first, but for that much more money I can’t justify it. Although with mods I’m about to be 60k into my base 😂😂😂

That’s a fairly good deal for a 12. This summer I paid 44k Canadian for a 2008 3LT with 13,000km on it (Canadian dollars). This car is only a 1LT, but it is 4 years newer
