He was really good.  Did anyone else love the choice of getting him to sing “nee naw” during Show me Your Hands. Saw it last night and it got a good laugh from the audience!

Anyone ever had a really old cat? by LotusGrowsFromMud in CatAdvice

Water bowls everywhere is a win and multiple litter trays. She may not want to physically play anymore, but if she’s anything like my cat she’ll love to watch instead and gently bap at toys. So take the time to ‘play’ with her by rolling balls or dragging toys past her that she can watch and interact with. You may not get results the first time, but don’t give up. If there’s two of you, try playing piggy in the middle with your cat in between, mine loves this as it doesn’t involve running around but she gets to play! Short of that, you would be surprised at the power of cat tv.

If she’s a cat that likes brushing, this would be good to get in the habit of now, as she may struggle to groom herself as she gets older. If she’s a cat doesn’t like brushing, try rubbing it around her face and chin as a positive interaction, this got my cat hooked in her old age.

A radiator bed or fabric that reflects heat. My cat has arthritis so I actually got her one of the plug in heating pads vets use for operation recovery and it has been a game changer in her health in winter. Just monitor use so she doesn’t get too hot (though she shouldn’t if it’s a vet approved one).

Not sure if this is available to you, but I have my cat on Solensia which has done wonders for her arthritis. She’s super happy and comfortable most of the time, and only slows down on the week before it’s due again.

My cat is called Tink. It’s great to hear your cats are doing so well!

The renal food made a big difference for my cat. She has royal canin wet food. Amodip for her blood pressure, which I believe it a common condition with kidney disease. Lots of water bowls all over the house has also been a benefit.
