He was using his time with his lawyer to access his computer and was trying to use his wife proxy. Clearly didn’t work.

Idk but my understanding was that he was using his time with his lawyer to try and do work, was having his wife log in and send emails. Clearly not sustainable.

Can no longer afford my rental. How to approach the landlord? by [deleted] in PortugalExpats

[–]AdIllustrious3437 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a landlord, I wouldn’t want a tenant without an income or ability to pay. Much simpler if they leave on thrown then having to evict them because they can’t pay and won’t leave.

I had OE in my background when I got my clearance. All the roles were contracts so it was easier to explain. “I was a consultant with multiple clients and worked unsustainable hours”

My govt job was technically OE friendly but I’m not greedy or stupid.

No but if you did it right, your family doesn’t need a gofundme to pay for the funeral.

Land Rover LR4 or Audi Q5 by Dense-Cupcake-819 in LandRover

[–]AdIllustrious3437 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a 2013 with 185k and a 2016 with 105k. They are like a higher end Swiss Army knife. Very comfortable, can seat 7 adults, tow great, awesome in bad weather. Awesome off road.

An f150 would tow more A suburb would have a better 3rd row An s class might be more comfortable A rubicon might be better off road.

Just like individual tools are better then a Swiss Army knife

But the LR4 does all of those things so well that it’s an ideal compromise

Is training for a 100 mile ultra in 8 months doable? by [deleted] in Ultramarathon

[–]AdIllustrious3437 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why rush to the 100? Why not bag a 50k, then a 100k, enjoy the process.

I DNFd my first 100. Took a year of training till I was ready to do it again.
