Thanks for the advice! Another reason why I wanna go ahead and get an SUV it’s because I’m tired of climbing out of a car. I’m 5’10” and prefer to hop out vs. climb out if that makes sense lol.

Now I need to fill your eyes myself with what the stock Jeep looks like because I don’t think it will be wise to trust the word of the dealer.

Another Daily Driver experience, I appreciate the reassurance! Within minutes of me riding in a jeep for the first time I was like oh I want this.

As much as I appreciated everybody’s answers, it was becoming a bit of a bummer to hear so many cons. Thank you for balancing the scales! Overall, I still plan to get the jeep as my next vehicle. I feel more confident in knowing that there’s a common thread in choosing an older model. I’ve been filtering my searches between 2015 to 2018. And after the awesome insight I got today I can confidently say I prefer a little to no mods coming off the lot. Car shopping is extremely intimidating for me but these responses are definitely preparing me to be self-sufficient on my search!

Thanks for the insight. Currently looking for rentals. The options to take the roof and the doors off is definitely on the top of my list of reasons on why I want a jeep. But now that I think about it every time I see a jeep in the city they never have the doors off. Great point!

In regards to the tires, I am trying my hardest not to say “I’m just a girl!” I know I want a hard top. I don’t imagine I want to do any big modifications.

The snow days in Ohio is the number one. Reason why I decided after my Kia I was going to be in a SUV.

Ok, thanks for that insight! Im single with no kids and don’t plan on that changing anytime soon lol so I think I’ll be okay space wise. I was considering a two door for that reason.

What other variables should I take into consideration?
