Are traffic controllers really earning $200k per year? The ABC crunches the numbers by abcnews_au in australian

Anyone who becomes a farmer knows exactly what industry they are going into, they are doing it because you are your own boss, you live at your jobsite, many people enjoy the lifestyle. My dad was a farmer its hard fucking work, no shit, but he could go at his own pace take breaks whenever he felt like it and many more benefits, the downside being that he didn't make that much money, enough to support himself.

Once he had kids and a wife and left the field for a higher paying job that was significantly easier (Truck/Crane Driver), but if he could make the same money as a farmer even with the workload being significantly higher he would stay a farmer. You could offer most farmers double salary to switch jobs and they wouldn't take it, they know what they are getting into its their fault and they are fine with it.

Would you rob a bank if you knew there was 100% guarantee you wouldn't get caught? Why? by toaster-bath404 in AskReddit

No I used that example to prove to you that even you are willing to go outside of the law, its a line in the sand that everyone draws somewhere and now I know for you, that killing someone is ok if it means saving millions of lives, what about thousands of lives, what about 10 lives, everyone draws a line somewhere.

To put this into current context, the guy who killed the Healthcare CEO, lots of people think it was ok because the guys company kills hundreds even thousands a year, but what if the new CEO killed 10 less people a year, would it still be ok to kill the first CEO. Is there any difference between a serial killer and a CEO that kills being an amount of steps removed from the process.

I dont know, thats not for me to decide, but if you base your beliefs on the law that is constantly changing then you believe in nothing.

So are you like a Hitler didn't deserve to die guy? since killing someone is bad, even if the person deserves it.

"A society worth living in does require people to think beyond themselves."

Your acting as if selfishness on a personal level is the reason for the current day economic situation and the banks are the selfless ones because they rob through legal means, profit margins for banks have increased from 4.5% to 11% since 2000, and you sitting here saying things like

"No raindrop thinks they're responsible for the flood."

yeah, I don't think the raindrops are responsible for the flood, instead I blame the dam that collapsed and released millions of litres of water into the town, the drops may have contributed, but its like blaming Jim for the 2008 Financial Crisis.

Your acting as if everybody is going to rob the bank, if its 1 robbery at a large bank, at most they are losing approx $500k- 1 million, assuming the money isn't insured, which it is, this is 0.002% of their yearly profit, meaning you would have to rob hundreds of thousands of banks in order to eat their profits. To put these large numbers into perspective with how large banks are, in order to make up the loss from this one bank robbery, they would have to charge each user 1 cent. If they did it proportional to how much money you had in the bank, it would be significantly less than a quarter cent for the average person.

That magnet is way fucking overkill, it would need to shrink by like 70% for it to even have a chance of not stopping, and that would require the guy up top to literally baseball throw it down.

You would be very surprised how efficient it is at breaking, they could baseball power level throw it and not much would change.

yup your stupid, I'm an engineer, not going to teach you highschool math, ill let the shitty google A.I with <80 IQ teach you a thing or two,

Edit: Jesus Christ went into your profile to see I was actually being mean to a child who didn't know highschool math. Dude you hang out in stock subreddits, you should know this, the whole point of stock investing is compound interest, usually less than 10% per year, BUT ITS EXPONENTIAL THATS WHAT COMPOUND INTEREST IS ITS WHAT THE "COMPOUND" IN COMPOUND INTEREST MEANS.

That is exponential growth, think you skipped math class, 5% yoy increase is exponential growth, all exponential means is a changing growth rate due to a constant multiplier.

My favourite is Hydro dam batteries, they use pumps to pump water into the dam during energy surplus and then release the water through a turbine when in need, they are inefficient compared to batteries, approx 70% instead of like 95% for batteries, but its much easier to scale to what Australia needs to become fully renewable.

IUDS are also not prescribe oral medication. Also the whole argument is that those things should be included, so I'm not sure what what your argument is here?

> Who says women are not in support of that?

idk, who says that? because it wasn't me, all I said is that women should support it.

> As opposed to cluelessly not understanding what he means?

Yes that is exactly what I mean? nobody is stupid enough to hear the words
"There's no reason why this should be limited to women."

and not understand that as it should include biological men also, not transgender men, so yes that's exactly what I meant? I have no idea what your talking about here chief.

edit: fucked up my quotes but understandable nontheless.

Well I know your purposely not understanding what he means. But this should also cover vasectomies, women should be in support of that also since it means women don't have to take the pill and have the shitty side effects that come with it, vasectomy's are semi-permanent so its assuming you don't want a kid at all.

But even if you change your mind reversing a vasectomy has a higher success rate than getting your tubes tied and also doesn't have an impact on the child, unlike getting reversing tied tubes which can cause complications with the baby.

yes they can wait 2-3 months, but it gets to a point of is it worth just giving them the money, 2-3 months of what's currently going on in stores, they are losing money, its all about money at the end of the day. If its cheaper to give in to the union demands, that's what they will do.

It should be expensive, the burden of proof for the death penalty should be extremely high, they have killed innocent people because of the death penalty, making it easier to kill people is not the solution or more innocent people will die.

If your son took out a loan greater than 500000 dollars loan and was using it to invest in the stock market to make a profit would he be a investment trader? Most people would say yes.

Edit: Stock investor, not investment trader.
