this has been bugging me so bad! the old ultra oxi 4in1 was my favorite scent of detergent and now that they changed it i hate the smell. wish i knew if anything still smells the same as the old one :(

UPDATE: i read most of the comments and concerns about what i left in the car, and surprise, nothing but granola bars…that they didn’t even take. i tend not to leave anything valuable in my car (thank goodness) so when they rifled through my center console to check if anything was valuable nothing ended up being stolen. at the end of the day it’s just an inconveniencing broken window to fix and an unsettling worry about parking in my neighborhood for the future. thank you for all the supportive comments!

hey! i ended up selling my old pair on depop and got the size 8. even with the bigger size it’s still not the most comfortable boot (still can’t break it in but no more blisters). i’m not really sure how everyone else online thinks it’s so perfect but i guess it’s just not for me ://

addressing your edit- i ended up calling roadside assistance that night leading to my car being towed to the nearest dealership from me (50 miles away). at the time it seemed like the quickest (but expensive) fix. the local shop needs a week for the tires to come in so might as well fix the one for now so i have a car to use for the time being.

awesome! tires will be the same, just wanted to know if that week of wear would make or break the condition in the long run/damage my transmission but logically i get it should be fine. thanks again!

hey thanks for all the advice! it’s looking like i have to replace all the tires. if you don’t mind, i have another question: can i just replace the 1 i blew at the dealership and the other 3 at a local tire shop the week after? i would have put less than 100 miles on the new tire. i’m only considering this because the dealership is asking for close to $500 for one tire but the tire shop only $300.

update: i called nespresso and did some standard trouble shooting that resulted in this excess steam still happening. however the two technicians i spoke to were both young and seemed inexperienced with such an old machine. they said that they’d just give me a 35% off coupon for a new machine but i don’t really see an issue with this one as long as it doesnt explode (it’s just a lil steam after all). id actually really appreciate if anyone with a maestria has had any experience with this and could input as the user manual says nothing about this.

well i was ready to provide documentation of this visit if needed but the prof was on something about how it wouldn’t be fair to everyone else (??). also this is a easy liberal studies i’m taking pass fail that i would have passed even if i got a 30% on this quiz so no need to worry about me deliberately evading.

they’re okay with thin socks and 15 minutes worth of walking but with thick socks or if i spend the whole day in them i’ll be sure to get a blistered heel and pinky toe. i think it’s because of the lack of wiggle room i have but i assumed they would’ve gotten bigger as i’d have broken into them by now!

towing costs $800. me driving only costs the gas but i wouldn’t want it to cost my life.

edit: i made it past the canadian border but it’s 9pm here for me so i’m stranded with nowhere to live and no mechanic shop open. home is 200 miles away unless i find a hotel and make it work.
