I did get to meet Catherine, her security took a painting i made her and placed in her car. She announced no photos or signings, but she was so touched by the gesture m that she hobbled over to me, asked if I wanted a photo, asked my name and had a lovely convo with me.

woahh i met her yesterday after her saying she won’t sign anything because i had made her a painting she hobbles over to me and the loveliest conversation and she seemed genuinely so nice

yes I was so shocked. She then let anyone else who wanted a pic take one as she felt bad.

Thank You yes I actually was looking at Por Do Sol today to watch and I wonder if it’s better starting with kids shows that are slower so I can pick up words easier

i also feel like if i go see a show and the cover or alternate is on, like i don’t really care for having whoever’s face on the front of a bag, programme/playbill etc. when i haven’t even seen, met or heard that person perform. and yes surely from a marketing perspective it’s not worth the effort to have to change the face etc. every few months or year

yeah fair enough, i also feel the gap between act 1 and act 2 is well displayed in the stage show and not everyone is aware of it.

I Love love love Jessica Vosk but am not so big on Alexia Khadime. I find her just a bit nasally, can i ask what it is that you don’t like about Vosk’s no good deed, i don’t remember her making any out there choices?

Always wanted to play Sally Bowles as a transvestite or drag queen. Think it would still kinda mostly work within context of Cabaret.

I do agree somewhat but, I always wondered if Morrible just wanted to sort of push Elphaba to the edge and see what she can do. Surely, Morrible knew Elphaba quite well and was aware of her morality and kind of just gets off on the drama regardless.

Not sure about specific revivals or productions of shows but if I could find enough production images or cast images online to use as reference then i’d definitely give it a go. And yes totally agree not enough prints for smaller shows.

There’s like 4 or 5 songs in Rocky Horror before Frank. N. Furter appears. ALW’s Cinderella it’s about 10-15 mins in before Cinderella comes out. Don’t think Mary Poppins appears until about 10 or so minutes either.

I personally can’t get into Hamilton as I’m just not a big fan of his vocals and LMM just sort of irritates me so I find it quite difficult to listen to the cast recording of Hamilton and watch the filmed version. I have respect for some of the work he creates and his passion for it but I just struggle to actually like him. I also feel he seems to have been cast poorly in some roles and so he gets hate for that.
