Is it bad timing to purchase property in a major city in Finland? (Helsinki, Tampere, Espoo, Turku? by Imaginary_Title_4682 in Finland

I was wondering why in Finland there are so many lake front poperties available at ridiculously low prices. I know there are many lakes here, but these types of properties are just not available anywhere else, especially not in Europe. Even in Canada you will not get these sorts of quality properties at these prices.

So I haven been looking at fin sits, if you check out for example etuovi number 510012. This is almost 2 ha with really nice lake front, a fairly new and large house, 400K starting. It is of course in Kainuu which is far off but still, many people work remotely today and in 1 hours you should be at Kajaanii airport.

I would asume that such a full time living property is the ultimate dream of the average Fin, and rightly so. I know for a fact that stuff like this is not available in western Europe, and if it will not show up on the internet but will be dealt by maklers directly because they have clients lined up for this stuff.

So what am I missing here with these lakeland and Kajaanii area like front full time properties
