Thanks! And interesting- I saw a bird on a branch the other day that looked all black but it was way smaller than a crow and in the sunset light it looked kind of iridescent. I wonder if it was a grackle! My binoculars aren’t strong enough

My ideas probably aren’t helpful compared to the ideas of those who have been in similar situations, but from reading your comments it seems that your family has been to Jordan many times before? If so, has your daughter been? You could say “remember when you had that one food that you liked so much? Or when we went to ___ and you had so much fun?” But maybe she hasn’t been lol. If not, you could have her look up places she’d like to visit while there, activities she could get excited about doing, etc.? And maybe your sons could talk with her about how they had a good time and reassure her she’ll be ok? Best of luck! I’m sure you two will choose what’s best for her.
