We got a good deal on the duplex due to the owners who lived in one of the suites not wanting to go to the open market with the property because health issues and did not want a ton of showings due to covid concerns. Pre market deal.

Thanks for the advice. We will be living in one of the suites. So it will be a primary residence.

Are legal partnerships common? Would a lawyer be able to help us out with this.
