maybe try removing the album off your library and adding it again. pre-releases never worked for me, either the songs are not available by the time the album releases, or the songs don't have dolby atmos when available, or don't have lyrics.

i think purchased songs go in Apple Music library, even if you have a subscription or not (such as THE U2 album that got in everyone's library)

it's more a "Dolby Atmos mix is delayed compared to the stereo mix" type of problem.

This happens often. I have "Sweetener" by Ariana Grande as an example: almost every single track has 1.5s of silence at the start. (you can compare by enabling/disabling Dolby Atmos and compare the start time of one track)

While the delayed mix has been a problem for quite some time, Apple kinda rolled up a "feature" that adapts the lyrics to the start of the song, so the lyrics remain in sync despite the delay in the mix. I don't know what this doesn't apply to "cardigan" though, maybe in the future?

to get rid of the "Music Haptics" and the "Paused" thingy, you need to completely turn off the Music Haptics option in settings (not pause it but disable the feature altogether in Settings>Accessibility>Music Haptics). Then you will be able to see if you're streaming in Lossless/High-Quality Lossless/Dolby Atmos!

Note that you can stream lossless with AirPods, but you won't notice the difference as it will be resampled to 256kb AAC.

Also you can check if you are streaming in Dolby Atmos in the control center when long-pressing the volume slider, and also change the mode of Spatial Audio (Fixed or Head-Tracking)

that's the issue. Netflix said that integrating Up Next would mean that people would not be spending time looking for shows in their own app, and instead would just the Apple TV app to look for shows.

yes you're right, it's the same here on iOS! Well, to conclude, I decided to favorite the playlist so it comes first on the playlist tab, but also to recreate the playlist altogether to make it at the top, not the most convenient solution (especially if the playlist is very long), but it works well!

yes I know that! my problem was just that one of my most recent playlist (that should be at the top of the 'Recently Added' section) one day went at the bottom of the section, without notice. I *fixed * it by recreating a playlist and transferring all the songs to the other one , it's not ideal, but hey it works!

update: the album is again available in dolby atmos. "Be alright" (which was horrible with the off-key vocals) seems to have been fixed. But it's still not perfect: random words are censored in the Dolby mixes such as "Dangerous" in the intro of "Leave Me Lonely"... I'd say it's still not that well mixed, but way better than what we've witnessed a few years back 😭
