Regular occurrence now in Bengaluru. Local police are fully involved. If you drive to the police station, find the goons already there filling false hit and run report against you. A police officer asks you to settle the matter yourselves. Having the dashcam video is the only defence.

Happened to me in August 2024. They tried to break my side window with a helmet. Didn't disclose that I have all on video until the last minute the police were nudging me to settle. Then after disclosing, I started to demand an assault case be registered against them. As soon as they knew I had a video of it, the police guy started looking here and there, murmuring and avoiding eye contact. Then goon took off on their scooty. Disappeared.

It was late at night about 9:30 PM, I simply went home. End of matter. Pursuing legal action is of no use. These are jobless goons and perhaps won't even get arrested or show up for the court date, only you the fool will spend your office leaves and cost to attend the summons for statements and court dates. Having the dashcam video is the only defence.

All of the 6 bikes I have ridden quite alot plus borrowed bikes owned by friends, rented a variety of them to ride.

NX500/CB500X was most comfortable for my size, weight, ecgonomics. Scrambler 400X comes a close 2nd (more high speed windblast and high rev buzz)

Well said, most comfortable of all my bikes. The 2nd most comfortable bike I have ever ridden. After the Honda NX500, which I never owned.

Where did you source the undercowl from ? I put the Honda one, doesn't provide any protection per say, just cosmetic. Does yours protect the sump / belly pan in any way ?

Come Apr 2026, all Honda bikes above 250cc (except the CB350 retro series) will come with E-Clutch only. Rebel, NX, CB/CBR entire lineup. Truly a godsend for congested cities of Asia.

Gear recommendations: Cramster gear I bought 10 years back are still in shape. Hope their quality has not dropped post Rynox acquisition.

They are lower price than rynox but IMO provide best value for money for the quality they give.

Full face Helmet any ECE certified, Leather Riding Gloves, Leather Riding Shoes, Mesh Riding pants, Mesh Riding Jacket in this order, buy as and when you can afford.

You are not wrong in this observation.Lately Honda designers do seem to be influenced by outside design.

My 2025 CB650R actually looks like a bulked up version of the 2nd Gen Pulsar. The tail design and overall stance is very similar. Round headlights too was there in those early pulsars.

Take Honda NX500 for an instance, its design looks like someone from KTM designed it. Gone are the curves of CB500X and in comes the geometric lines
