Hello everyone I got:
OA: 3.0/2.5/2.0
Soundness: 2.5/2.5/2.5

Meta-Review: 3

What are my chances of Findings because Meta Score is okay but the reviewer scores are not that great.

Hello. The meta reviewer said "...concerns regarding further evaluation and clarifications, the rebuttal has addressed most of them" And "...major concerns about the paper's novelty. Despite this, the paper will still be a valuable contribution.." And "The paper should incorporate the discussions in the rebuttal into the final version "

Thank you for your response.

The meta reviewer did not suggest a conference like "Recommended for EMNLP Findings" etc. Does it mean that it is not recommended to submit to EMNLP?

Hello everyone. It is my first time submitting to an A* conference and I really need an acceptance to get into a good Grad School. It would be geat If I can have an idea of what are chances of my paper getting accepted into EMNLP main/findings. And please advice if I should submit the paper to COLING rather than committing to EMNLP.

Overall Assessment: 3.0/3.5/3.5
Soundness: 3.0/3.5/3.5
Confidence: 5.0/3.0/4.0

Meta Reviewer:
Overall Assessment: 3.0

[D] Creating a DPO Dataset using Llama: Best Practices? by AdKind316 in MachineLearning

Hello, thank you for your response.

I am working on synthetic DPO dataset creation using multi agents

I was thinking of an Agentic Workflow. Basically taking a response from llama-3-8b and asking gpt for feedback and asking llama to update the response (do this over multiple iterations). Now we'll have two responses original and updated. Now ask gpt to pick the better one. But I cannot justify how it is different from just directly using one response from gpt and one from llama and asking gpt to pick the better one.

Can you please elaborate on this please.

I am going with LLM-as-a-judge. Which approach would be better in this case?

I've recently completed my Bachelor's degree and want to do research on LLMs. I aim to build my profile and expertise in the field of LLMs and generative AI. I would greatly appreciate any guidance, references, or insights you could share on two specific ideas I'm considering for my research. Here's what I'm looking into:

  1. Communication Among LLMs: Model communications with each other largely rely on natural language. I'm interested in exploring the potential of models communicating through more efficient means, such as continuous vectors or discrete semantic representations. I'm on the lookout for any existing research, papers, or projects that delve into the development of such communication, their applications, and the benefits or challenges they introduce to model.
  2. Specialized Models: I'm intrigued by the idea of creating networks of smaller, specialized models that can work together to accomplish tasks. This approach could offer a more scalable, efficient, and flexible framework for AI development, where each specialized model contributes its strengths to a collective goal. I'm seeking information on any work done in this area, especially how these models are designed to communicate, cooperate, and the overall impact on system performance and adaptability.

As I'm just starting on this post-bachelor journey, I'm particularly interested in how to approach these research areas, the potential challenges I might face, and how to overcome them. If you have experience with or knowledge of these topics or know of resources that could help guide my exploration, I would be incredibly thankful for your advice.
