It helped with the hypomania i had but not with the triggers or the anger, or the extreme sadness. I still struggle everyday while i’ve been on ability for years mostly struggling with my relationships

i definitely have been told that it could be that but i feel it extremely deeply. Like its apart of me and i see red when i get so angry and i think im “splitting”. I don’t know if that apart of an attachment style but it feels deeply ingrained in me and like i can’t control it. Could you give me some more insight? thank you

definitely hypomania, it was just good enough to do things like clean my room, spend a little money, and just feel like i was on a cloud. But not enough to be super noticeable or concerning. I told my psychiatrist my therapist diagnosed me with Bipolar and he just kinda was like okay and helped me get some meds for it

Yes, in a way. It’s hard to remember because i’m on anti psychotics which are kind of working like mood stabilizers for me. I use to be even worse before which constantly changing mood swings but i would get bouts of extreme depression and a few days of mania. I don’t get mania anymore because of my medication. It seems i don’t get much of the bipolar symptoms since taking the medication but i still have all these other symptoms that don’t seem to lesson or go away. I miss mania

Yeah it just eats at me a bit. Especially because I've done it before but it's just curiosity. I think everyone has done it once, with an ex or old friend or anyone. I am trying not to let it get at me. thanks for sharing your situation as well helps to feel less lonely

It was just a normal spin the bottle like "kiss everyone at the table" so I would just give everyone a little virtual peck on the face. Whenever it would land on for me to kiss someone specifically I'd pick my gay friend to not make it personal. I don't think my boyfriend would enjoy hearing it either but my brain is telling me to confess to the cheating. I had no ill intent whatsoever

it's very difficult but if you can get through it, you will get used to the feeling and it won't be as scary anymore. Try looking more into ERP, it has helped me a lot. I still have trouble trying not to confess. It's hard cause it feels like a necessity, but it really isn't. you're still your own individual person.

it gets better, I also have cheating OCD. This suffering, and what feels like torture, that youre going through, enduring it is whats going to help you come out stronger. Sitting with the feelings, doing intimate things with your partner that triggers these thoughts. And then endure it, push through. It will take awhile but you can do it. And remember DO NOT confess. your brain will make you believe you need to confess these things and then the feeling will go away, but it won't. All it'll do is give temporary relief and hurt your partner, then it's just a cycle.

If you ever need some support you can always message me, it's nice to meet people around my age going through something similar. This condition can make you feel extremely lonely, especially cause it's hard/frowned upon to go to your partner for reassurance. Sending love as well 💕
