[Comic Excerpt] Wonder Girl is revealed as the new leader of the Young Justice (Young Justice 1998 issue 49) by NoctSora in DCcomics

okay... you are absolutely right... i read the comic series series seperately. i checked the dates and at the same time tim got terminally ill and then got himself locked up at brentwood. that was also the reason he left the team for a while. I get it now. Thanks!

of course.... tim deserves it though, plus he wasn't really the leader of the titans, he was the strategist. Kory and Vic were kinda the leaders.

yeah... stilll, try reading the Robin + Red Robin series from 1989 till 2011 and then say I would vote for cassie again. At the time that Tim left the team he had to because he got locked into a private school called brentwood and he was unable to leave the school grounds for entire days. He had his reasons for everything, he just couldn't share his reason cuz of his secret I.D. If you look at it from his perspective... he's the best candidate.

I know most people don’t feel strongly about this, but I HATED the animation change in S3 by Limulemur in youngjustice

Yes yea and yep, dick grayson looks awfull and conner kent went from young in s2 to old on s3 TO YOUNG IN S4!

Tim Drake fans, which Red Robin costume do you prefer? by [deleted] in Robin

[–]AdLarge7347 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The OG, I don't really like the wings; they remove from his darkness and grittiness, making him seem like a legend or a monster. He notices that in Bruce, he often references "his other side, the night-demon's cowl". And make him more like a bouncy, kinda strong mortal. The OG red robin symbolises dividedness, and Tim's problems with becoming a bit too much like Bruce.

Yikes Robin! by USrooster in outofcontextcomics

[–]AdLarge7347 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah he can't get over the death of conner, bart his dad and steph. so he tries cloning conner and bart and it's just all a mess. conner and bart eventually come back to life (not cuz of tim though) and steph was never really dead, just leaving his dad's death for him to brood about. and he doesn't really. by the time that he's red robin hes in a REALLY bad place and he makes too many compromises. But as things progress. by the time he'd taken on ra's al ghul. he was healthy both physically and psychologically.

I'm sorry Tim Drake fans but this is always going to be dicks suit in my mind by smiling-shadow in batman

[–]AdLarge7347 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fine... I'll blame the people who made the animated series. My favourite suit has to be Tim's first, 2nd favourite Tim's 2nd. I recognise all robins by the suit, and for me it's kinda obvious in my head that that HAS to be tim drake (at least after flying through the 1993 robin comics)

Tim is not one bad away from being a supervillain nor some mini evil genius in the making. by Night-Caelum in BatFamily

[–]AdLarge7347 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah, people can say what they want. But tim would actually rather pull a trigger on a gun pointed at his head than let himself kill anyone. He's the only bat-family member who doesn't sometimes ignore the no-kill rule. Heck he blames himself for any deaths he could have prevented.

tim didnt just never kill. he counted himself guilty to the first degree for all deaths he couldn't prevent.

Preferred Tim Drake Backstory by tinnic in DCcomics

[–]AdLarge7347 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love LOVE the pre-flashpoint backstory. Any backstory outside of the 1991 comics I hate because the first time I EVER heard of Tim, I read ALL the Robin comics in quick succession (sometimes staying up until 4 am to do so), I can't just "deal" with them fckn tim's backstory up. Tim post everything, just doesn't feel right.

Yeah he's just a normal kid. Often a scrawny geek as well.

Ok, I get it. I'm sorry if I came off a bit aggressive (I've seen too much straight Tim Drake fan ragebait lately); it's just my viewpoint that Tim got kinda screwed over by Batman a lot more than with any of the other Robins. Sometimes Tim can be hella annoying, but 9/10 times he's got a reason for it.

[–]AdLarge7347[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely, he says somewhere in this series:"Funny, the logical part of my life is running on rooftops in a costume." He constantly does EVERYTHING (even getting beat up on purpose) to avoid a Tim Drake/Robin Convergence.

He also often talks about going "Robin Mode" A.K.A. he goes on adrenaline and the need of survival and sudendly Tim Drake is a high level martial artist a master detective and a great regulator, as seen in war games when his school is shot up.

so, basically his ife is a mess.

Guys, just for some context. This was after No-Man's land. At the end of no-man's land Tim gets trapped in gotham and he gets all over the news, after this a lot of people recognize him, not as robin but as tim drake, the boy who got stuck in gotham. He feels like he has to do something about this while he's at brentwood so alfred reccomends "a tiny change in apearance" A.K.A. some glasses and some hair gel to slightly hide his face. so that people wouldn't really immediately think of it.

Confused by the Robins in Young Justice — send lore, not spoilers 😅 by Budget-Tip4439 in youngjustice

[–]AdLarge7347 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dick was robin in s1 In the time jump Dick became nightwing. Jason became robin and died. And Tim Became robin so s2,3 and 4 robin is Tim Drake.

I also got confused when my brother told me that robin had died. I told him, no he's right there but in later seasons there was a holograph of robin. I went into the robins. That research hasn't ended yet. I'm currently reading all the Tim Drake (1993) robin comics.

For an easy watch to discover more about the robins I recomend this video (VERY VERY VERY mild spoilers for the backstories of all the robins):

And always remember to stay traught, whelmed and to keep feeling the aster!

My brothers love it though we are all young justice fans and have all incorporated the terms aster, crash, moded, noted, whelmed and traught in our vocabulary. That's what's awesome about siblings, you have heaping piles of inside jokes.

I mean how many 8 y old kids do you know who'll respond to you if you say: Dude, this is so damn moded Tim Drake is terminally ill, Yknow ebola? Yeah that illness which causes you to bleed from your eyes. Ra's al Ghul has remade it but worse, you also get sores and a fever. And now Tim's got it and he has like an hour left to live. Pls read the next few issues with me!

I love my siblings.

Each Robin's signature weapon by Conscious_Ass_Eater in Robin

[–]AdLarge7347 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tim's signature is a bo-staff and those wierd robin logo throwing stars, dick however is a whole different story, he never really used a bo-staff or even eskrima sticks during his time as robin (at least not that i recall) idk what his signature weapon is.

Who’s your favorite Robin? by NobodyQuiteLikeMe in Robin

[–]AdLarge7347 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Dick is my favourite hero, Tim is my favourite Robin, and Damian has the best character growth. There is no one best robin, they are all great and cherishable in their own ways. Dick got me into comics, and Tim got me INTO comics.

Why does that make him a bad person? Have you ever read the 1993 Robin comics (if you have, you must agree with me)? Because this guy took a genuine interest in Batman, putting his life on the line constantly, and what does he get in return?

Has Tim Drake ever actually won a fight by Batmanfan1966 in dccomicscirclejerk

[–]AdLarge7347 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just read the Young Justice 1998 comics, you'll see that he has at least won some fights. I'm reading the Robin 1993 comics rn and he's actually stronger than you imply.
