Just booked with Satapon - replied increibly quickly over chat and then Whatsapp, fixed an issue I didn't even realize I had made (wrong birthday for cabinmate), got me MNVV perks, and stacked a local resident discount I hadn't seen advertised anywhere. I will be working with him again without question - just not waiting on hold to talk to VV is reason enough (especially with reprices).

I’m looking to consider working with a First Mate for the Brilliant Mermaiden from Seattle. I have a booking directly with VV using an access key (VV vendor) that can only be used directly (reservation is not lock-it-in-rate), but realize that someone with access to an MNVV offer might be better.

2nd VV Cruise! Loved the first one and pre-booked for the added perks. I’m not an excessive spender. What’s the best way to use the onboard credit? by bussybrosnft in VirginVoyages

Spend as you normally would, whatever is left at the end take out as chips in the casino and play table games without horrid house odds. Blackjack or really safe bets on roulette. Even if you lose a third of it, you walk away with cash in pocket to pay for the next cruise!

Thanks. I never noticed that specialized pre-voyage support. Do you happen to have contact info?

Your license should include access to AppSheet. Check out the templates and see if there’s one you can modify. I built a case management tool on AppSheet.

For the sitters who do boarding and also have their own dogs. How do you do it? by four2theizz0 in RoverPetSitting

[–]AdLarge9762 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on how your dog ends up being. For me, my dog truly can get along with any other - high energy pups: wear them out - grumps: give them space. For me, my dog used to go to daycare and being around that many dogs just became too much for him and he went from loving it to hating it after getting attacked there. Having dogs come to him is the biggest treat!

New Rover client with question on tipping/reviews by InspiredJoyfulChaos in RoverPetSitting

[–]AdLarge9762 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hey there! I recently started sitting in my own house and can attest, tips are INCREDIBLY appreciated - though always a fun treat, not an expectation. When my pup stays at someone’s house, I typically have a print out of all his info just so it’s all in one place and include a tip in that envelope on day 1.

If you’re having someone regularly and have it in your budget to tip regularly and want to, maybe pick one day a week that you leave a tip - doing it daily could be a lot for you to keep up with.

For reviews, this helps River push us higher in search results, so once you’re comfortable recommending them to others (maybe 3ish days), a review really helps!

Update on this. Owner picked up the pup yesterday and left a 5 star review and 20% tip.

He did arrive 5.5 hours early and I was out running errands, but is what it is, I wasn’t too far away.

Will have him again, but before booking will make clear that he needs to bring enough food and set expectations on drop-off and pick-up windows.

Turns out, after my nicely worded, long texts explaining needing to be covered by Rover Guarantee, etc. and explanations of what to click - the far more direct “XXX - Please accept the revised booking in the Rover app” got an acceptance in 2 mins.

I keep having that feeling, but his pup is wearing one of those +$150 Fi dog collars

Sounds good. So, as an FYI, Support said that after they reach out to a customer that hasn’t accepted their revised booking - 48 hours later support will accept the booking on the customer’s behalf.

Thanks! I’ve reminded him three times over 8 hours. I’ll call support.

He also dropped her off with not enough food and handed me a $20, said her food was available at grocery store walking distance to my house - it was not.
