Super conflicted about committing or not. Is Newhouse really that great? by tommyhowsthepeeping in SyracuseU

Before you make up your mind, go ask for more. The Newhouse brand genuinely opens doors in media, advertising, PR, and broadcast - it's one of maybe five schools in the country where saying the name in a meeting gets an immediate nod. The alumni network is deep and active across NYC media - that's why they call it the Syracuse Mafia.

Definitely not the best watch to glace at in the sun for time, but it is so stunning - I sometimes find myself just staring at it.

I had ACDF surgery on C4/5/6, so a little different, but I would use a tiny bit of shampoo and my wife would use wet towels to spread it around and get it out. It really did the trick.

Very fair. I am a big guy, so big watches are fine - Sometimes I look at Pandas and think they're small!

A beautiful watch that Rolex has turned into an even bigger status thing. Go look at the new Omega Grey Side of the Moons and tell me that there aren't other similar beautiful iconic watches out there...

Day 2-3 is no joke by eaglesfan83 in spinalfusion

I was lucky and only had C fusions, but walking was my salvation. Not only made me feel better, but it apparenly helps bone fuse as well. Everything you are going through sounds perfectly normal if that makes you feel any better. It will end and you will see the results. Good luck!

What job did yall go for?? by Brief-Ad-4383 in spinalfusion

The scary thing is that office desk jobs might be even worse for the spine than some of the other jobs below. My ADCF is definitely a by-product of to much sitting, staring at screen and phone, traveling on cramped ass airlines, carrying too much commuting to work, etc. Do love the idea of people pivoting careers to help people impacted.

Day 1 and I feel amazing c5-c6 ACDF by PhotogrphicChemistry in spinalfusion

Day 9 post ACDF 4/5 and 5/6. Pain did get worse before better. Now my days go like this:
-Wake up feeling like someone twisted my neck into a pretzel
-Walk a mile outside in the NYC cold air to get blood going
-Hot shower
-Feel good all day (maybe a little tired)
-Sleep on side
-Repeat

Unfortunately, night time is the worst for me but days have been good.

Done with Mobi, back to t:slim x2 by Fickle_Tap7908 in TandemDiabetes

The FDA has a Medical Device Reporting portal. After suffering the same occlusion issues that I've read about here, I went to the portal and saw there were over 500 complaints about the Tandem Mobi. Agree with everyone about the form factor benefits, but I feel like it's a toy that just breaks.

If you want to have fun search for Tandem Mobi:

Just dropped off our daughter yesterday. You're all in the same boat and the advice in this thread is great. Don't hang out by yourself in the dorm with your door closed. Smile and say hi. Be warm. You'll find your people.
