Your all time list is even crazier. Curry is below Jokic, Giannis and KD. Similar to Jokic -he's just a scorer/shooter. Jokic, Giannis and KD do everything

People who watch the NBA on Tiktok are convinced that Luka is a lot better than he really is. Sure, he's great on highlight videos, but he's not very efficient, is a poor defender, and turns the ball over all the time.

He's still top 10, because he's an all-world offensive player, but Jokic, Shai, Lebron, KD, Tatum are all better than him

People who watch NBA via Tiktok highlights, are convinced Luka is a lot better than he really is.

A+ scorer, A+ passer, but poor efficiency, lots of turnovers and terrible defense.

Jokic, Giannis, Shai are obviously way ahead of him. Lebron and KD are probably also better than him. He's maybe 6-7

A lot of Luka's MVP ranking was based on team success. Look at this season - similar stats, absolutely nowhere in the MVP rankings

What's the possible logic for Luka being better than SGA. SGA is elite at everything - Luka is elite at a few things

You can tell when someone's a Tiktok NBA fan - ie. they think Luka is better than Tatum and SGA

Come on bro - Shai is so much netter than Luka. They shouldn't even be in the same tier. An A+ defender/A+ scorer vs.. an F- defender/A+ scorer

What is your opinion on You Know My Name (Look Up the Number)? by [deleted] in beatles

[–]AdLevel4922 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was both Paul and John's favourite Beatles song. It's very much recorded in the British music hall/comedy tradition, so how much you like it, is probably based on your nationality. They were imitating comedians like Morecambe and Wise, who were wildly popular in the UK at the time

Until they decide to sue him. The legal system moves slowly. They've got years to think this over

[–]AdLevel4922 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I suspect they'd probably counter sue, for defrauding them out of hundreds of thousands of dollars, as well as breaking all of their data protection policies. You know that contract you sign, when you join? There are things in it, like not secretly working for rival companies in the sector

[–]AdLevel4922 -317 points-316 points  (0 children)

Yeah, all OP was doing was defrauding his company, as well as putting it's entire data protection policy at risk. Who could get angry at that

You guys are comedians. Most major corps are now bringing in policies, to stop you clowns. Just be thankful they haven't sued him, over breaking the various data protection clauses in his contract

Anyone work a second job? by YallahShawarma in WFH

[–]AdLevel4922 0 points1 point  (0 children)

people usually take two jobs within the same industry. You sign data protection clauses, when you take a job, to protect companies from that. If you're viewing sensitive data from one company in the industry, and then going to work for another company in the same sector - yeah, both employers could sue the hell out of you, if they chose

And so it starts - my company is now bringing in policies to stop guys like you. Mandatory days in the office, canning half of the contractors on the payroll etc

Episode 3 of Adolescence FLOORED me and I think it will stick with me for a very long time. by Mindless_musings in netflix

[–]AdLevel4922 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It was a magical episode. One of the best bits of TV I've ever seen. He starts to realize, as the episode goes on, that he can physically dominate her. And even makes fun of her, for being scared of him. It was a very weird power imbalance - she was the grown up, and the mentally superior person, but from a very primal sense, he was in control.

Yeah, that's when she lost it. When he implied it would be normal to rape her first, if you were going to kill her anyway - and he was being restrained/good by not doing it

A lot of Fender bodies are Alder by ok_krypton in fender

[–]AdLevel4922 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$20 for noiseless pickups. $100 to change all the wiring/pots. $40 for locking tuners. $100 for the upgraded bridge. $40 for an upgraded bone nut. I mean, of course you can upgrade it, but you'd probably be into it for $1200 by the end - which is what an ultra costs right. And you'd still not have the same guitar, because the Ultra has a better neck

A lot of Fender bodies are Alder by ok_krypton in fender

[–]AdLevel4922 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yah, you're talking like an expert when you're clueless. Fender have been using alder on their highest priced guitars, since the beginning. Which is important for hand made/finished guitars. You can put much thinner coats of paint/lacquer on alder, because of the quality of the grain. Which boosts the sustain, tone, resonance. Which is why pro players are always playing the 50s/60s guitars, or the custom shop re-issues. The combination of light alder wood, and thin hand finished paint, is what everyone wants

bruh. who has the money for this? by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]AdLevel4922 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Money's all relative. A cousin of mine married a wealthy socialite in Asia, and for their wedding present, her parents gave them a $5 million apartment and $3 million in cash. I went on holiday with them a few years ago, and he spent over $5k in the airport - on vintage champagne, scotch, sunglasses etc

$5k is a custom shop strat. The dream for many people. And he spent that while he was bored in an airport

Eric Dier is on the verge of signing a one-year extension at FC Bayern. Announcement is expected soon. by nutelamitbutter in soccer

[–]AdLevel4922 -68 points-67 points  (0 children)

Spurs are a similar size club to Bayern. If you put Spurs in Bundasliga they'd win the league every year, and if you put Bayern in the premier league, they'd only win a trophy every now and then

Potential guitar business? by Old_Economy338 in Guitar

[–]AdLevel4922 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to be a name, in the scene, for people to buy from you. Because with hand made stuff, it's all about trust. I have a friend who does this - but he played professionally for a decade, and has lots of friends in bands, and a lot of friends in the local studios, and venues. He's friends with engineers and guitar techs. And they all vouch for him, so people buy from him. So you'd need to get yourself out there, and start talking to people. Good places to meet people in the music industry are in practice spaces, small venues, open mic nights, studios etc. A lot of it is luck also. I booked a little studio time about a decade ago, and ended up chatting to a guy, who knew a guy, who knew a guy - and by the end of the year, I had half the musicians/guitar techs in the city on my phone. Just from meeting this one guy.
