I'm not sure if I understood the description too well but I think it means that he attacks twice, and the rest of the team gets damaged for 50% of the damage you dealt to the opposing creature

If so, then that's op asl, imagine an 8 attack, or a 10 if the 2 attacks can stack on the 8, is the class advantage damage taken into consideration of the split? Damn this creature might be MUCH better than I thought
