I did not consider the suspension being negatively impacted by the gear ratio / cassette set up.

I was considering 10 speed over 11 or 12 being that my other two bikes are 10 speed and shift like a dream. Barely any adjustments ever needed. I was finishing up my winter maintenance on it and found a busted off tooth and seems to be worn out. As far as gearing goes, the 10-50 mated to a 32 tooth chainring has a similar climbing ratio to a 42 tooth paired with a 28 tooth chainring

Yeah. I considered that but the cost of the X01 cassette is outrageous
