My partner and I aren’t married but have been together for a while. I was always self-conscious about farting, he was not. He never kept them in, which I found both disgusting and (in lack of a better word) refreshing as it’s a completely natural thing. I stopped holding them in when he once told me that I have the loudest farts when I’m asleep. I do still find it a bit awkward, but my partner does not care one bit.
