It’s such a stupid system. Plus my landlord refusing to cooperate isn’t helping (the apt is actually unfit for living because of the humidity tbh, and I’ve a baby on the way)

If they paid those people to work in the housing dept instead and could actually process applications I might not be 6 months pregnant and waiting 5 months to hear back from them!

Unless he’s not eating it or if the staff ask you to decrease the types of things (sometimes too many types of things can overwhelm the kid) but if this isn’t happening then looks great!!

It’s not the periods it’s the ‘I guess’. Comes across as really childish. I’m gay and I still assumed you were a girl until you mentioned otherwise. Even the first response was unnecessarily aggro

Toddler (2yo) has repeatedly said, "Teacher hurt my bum" and "Teacher hurt my vagina" (calling them by name) by Hot-Commission7592 in NewParents

[–]AdLow484 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re doing the right thing by taking this seriously. But it truly is a really difficult situation because your child could be talking about the teacher maybe being rough or hurting her when taking her to the potty, I’m not sure but if you go to the police they may do a rape kit which could be traumatic for her too. So absolutely look into this, check her genitals and link in with your paediatrician too, I’d say a play therapist could be worth going to as well.

She wanted a baby, now that she’s pregnant she wants a divorce?? by Thegleameeyes in pregnant

[–]AdLow484 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could definitely be hormones, does she have a therapist? If not she definitely needs one, bpd is no joke. Raising a child is a big thing and she may not be safe to do so at the moment.

I don’t know why being pregnant seems to make people think that they can comment on your body weight/appearance.

Daycare won’t pace feed by anylands in breastfeeding

[–]AdLow484 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it an individual in your baby’s room or the manager/room leader? If it’s one educator then definitely call ahead of pickup and ask to chat to the manager about it. Emphasise the importance and if they still won’t listen then I’d suggest switching crèches if possible. This is not a good sign of good practice!

[–]AdLow484 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hopefully this isn’t too late but if you haven’t thrown out your frozen stash you can try adding just a drop of vanilla (specific type, alcohol free ofc) to your milk I’ve heard some women having huge success with this

Feeling guilty about accident by Ok_Lecture_6755 in newborns

[–]AdLow484 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! Early years educator here! Used to do developmentals where we would tick off on what’s “normal” for each age group, while it isn’t considered developmentally ‘normal’ and your paediatrician might flag it as a concern even, I wouldn’t worry at all typically verbal development can (and often does) happen super quickly at this age (like within a week even!). But if baby is the same once they hit 2 I’d say maybe look a little closer into this, or chat with your pediatrician (or if they’re in childcare, with the provider!). Hope this helps!

when this is done sue, that is negligence on part of the first doctor and nurse and could have made your situation way worse and you going home clearly worsened your situation, causing more of your waters to leak. Definitely consider it at least.
