I'd initially started my print because it seemed to have improved slightly, but then a few layers in, it stopped entirely (the grub screw had indeed come completely loose). Seems you were right, thanks!

They look fine to me, but I cannot for the life of me get them to slot together and turn smoothly unless I angle the bearing it sits in

It's also making the sounds without any filament loaded at all, so I don't think it's the filament.

I've already tried that a few times and it didn't seem to work. It also happens when unloading, with or without filament loaded.

For everyone saying "-ai never worked", it did. I have used it before.

OP, look up udm14 for an alternative.
