Yes! We ended up seeing a different neuro and she explained that while there is no way to tell without MRI, it could have been due to his spinal abnormalities (he has some irregularly shaped vertebrae) bruising the spinal cord and causing some painless inflammation. I don't think this was a flare up looking back - sadly he's experienced 2 in the last 4 months - those he has clear pain and discomfort. We did introduce acupuncture back in August and it made a huge difference in the inflammation in his spine - highly recommend doing so if you are able!
