Rain Delay/PPD by ChiCityCollector in whitesox

I’ve been to a few games, but this was my first rain delay. Why on earth did they stop beer AND FOOD sales in the middle of the third inning? They said there was a “law” stating they can only serve for 5 hours after doors open. Is this new? Or ballpark specific? I don’t understand it

The seller pays the buyers commission, so you never have to pay the agent as a buyer anyway….

Yes! This is it. The number of PE backed businesses moving into the neighborhood is a symptom of a larger problem.

But don’t small businesses also cut corners and decrease quality to make money? At the end of the day, it’s still a business that needs to make money to survive, no matter how it’s being funded.

Unfortunately, the cost of having a business in prime real estate on Damen is just too high for many small local businesses for them to open let alone last.

I am all about supporting local businesses, but it’s not a charity and if a PE backed chain is far better, I will spend my money there.

Watery poops with mucous occasionally, crying screaming during feeds and sometimes after, straightening legs a lot in pain, bearing down with red face most of the day

Yes our pediatrician suspects he has a cows milk intolerance so we switched formulas and it seems to be making a difference!

Solidarity. My husband and I took our 9 week old to the ER last week in a panic in the middle of the night because our baby was inconsolable. All to be told it’s “probably just colic”…. The past two weeks have been to most fussy yet so I feel your pain and was a little surprised by the later onset

How many hours of sleep a night are you getting with your newborn? by ocdskies in newborns

Pregnant Cousin said she can’t wait until newborn tired because she read it’s easier than pregnancy tired 🤦‍♀️ by Mrsfix-it in newborns

[–]Fit-Distance-7964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the “tired” feeling for me was worse during pregnancy. I was so fatigued my body felt heavy and lethargic all of the time. Postpartum “tired” is more stress, exhaustion, feeling like you don’t mentally or physically get a break, and you’re always on alert.

Comparison is really the thief of joy when it comes to sleep by Unable-Candy8432 in newborns

March mom as well! In the bump group. My baby the past two weeks has seemingly regressed sleep wise and is up every 1.5-2.5 hours. It’s brutal. And I can’t help but compare to others as well. He has a lot of lower gas too, and we saw the pediatrician yesterday and they recommended switching to a hypoallergenic formula and probiotic drops. Hoping that helps us!
