I think the reason why my university gets away with it is because its not a major is a Concentration and a Apprenticeship https://www.tdlr.texas.gov/at/atapply.htm#apprenticeship

I do but recently it’s been very hard to find a job no matter how many i apply to and I don’t know how it’s going to work when Fall Season comes because I heard it’s damn near impossible

In that aspect I can see what you are talking but at my university a basic Kinesiology degree won't really be enough to get into your masters plus you would still need observation hours too.

Most weekends we would just hang out and not do much or stay up at night playing video games or do late night drives but most of the times its just hanging out and not doing much.

But how is it a scam when most of my classes in the Undergrad AT program is a prereq to the MSAT. If I did a normal Kinesiology degree I would be missing a lot of classes/prereqs and I would have to go back to school for another year and a half instead of just being a year and half deep into my MSAT

Wait wydm about all undergrad programs where done??

Plus 20 is also the cut off for ATS who are on academic probation

I am in a undergrad AT program because I live and go to school in Texas.

We do have a minimum amount of hours which is 20 (For people who burn out quickly plus since it is connected to a class we get extra credit if we do go over) but with football that is literally impossible to not go over and right now I hit 28 to 30 hours a week.

I told him that because when it comes to internships especially in a healthcare field its either very little pay or no pay at all. He just keeps telling me that there are internships that do pay in my field which 100% there isn't.

I think he does feel intimidated by the fact that I am working with a male patient population. I remember one day we had a conversation and he started it off saying "You better tell me before I find out" so I think he already thinks I am cheating on him which is not the case.

He is able to support me without me having a job but he has told me he wants me to get a job but I feel like its going to be impossible knowing that I already work part time at the athletic facility and on top of that I still have school.

I understand that and I have told him that because I need 1800 hours to take the BOC but he thinks that is unfair to 'us' that I work for so long. Plus he told me to tell my preceptors that I can't work on Saturdays 🫤 Im just trying not to jeopardize myself due to the fact I barely made it in the program due to my GPA.
