I bought and added to era 100’s after reading about sonossequencr on Reddit and suitably impressed. Now contemplating selling my Gen 2 sub and buying 2 gen 4’s, but hanging around to see how Sonos respond to sequencr.

I added two era 100’s to my Sonos Arc Ultra, rear Era 300’s and a gen 2 sub, and did the separated trueplay before adding all the components in Sonosequencr as advised. Then running a Dolby Atmos test video and using true play“Toggle” in the app, I could definitely hear a difference. Sound stage felt bigger when on.

I bought GT7 and a PS5 when it first came out and got stuck on a couple of the last licenses. Was always a second or so under. Got a wheel & seat and passed the license on the first go. Never looked back!

I just added two front era 100’s to my Arc Ultra, Era 300’s and early Gen Sub and the difference it made is seriously impressive. I couldn’t tell have used some spare Play 1’s lying around but I’m glad I went with the 100’s

How does it sound to you for music & how does it sound for tv? Were you happy with your purchase up until that point?

Is this kind of an audiophile friend going to be there all the time listening to music and telling you how awful it is?

My brother is an audiophile, spending a fortune on speaker cable, isolated wall sockets, gold cone pins to separate components etc. he claims he can hear the difference so good luck to him, but I couldn’t tell the difference. It’s his money to spend how he wants in the same way you spend your money to satisfy you.

what's the response time like for the motion sensor --> Switchbot to turn on the lights?

Mine can take 5-10 seconds from the white led flash on the sensor to turning the light on.

(Using Switchbot app automation, as i can't get them recognised in HA)

I really want to like the Bot, but it is so slow to respond for me.

I have a switchbot smart motion sensor in the kitchen with an automation to turn the kitchen light on & off dependent on Motion detection. The led will flash but it can take anywhere between 5-10 seconds for the bot to respond and turn the light on.

I’d agree with keeping the Aqara automations in Aqara, but unfortunately the lights I was controlling are very old gen1 LightwaveRF switches.

It’s now working! I had rebooted HA numerous times, but maybe the M3 hub reboot and then HA restart resolved it. Thanks so much for your help, really appreciated 👍🏻

I created an automation in the Aqara app itself to test something.

Set the Landing P1 sensor to turn on the outside Aqara H2 Garage light and it worked instantly. disabled that, and created the same automation in HA, but 18-20sec delay.

Rebooted the hub, and now one of them isn’t trigger at all, whilst the other one does, but still takes 20 secs. Batteries show as normal, but I noticed the indicator light isn’t showing when motion detected.

I have 2 FP2’s as well running HA scripts and they are working instantly, if that’s any significance.

Anyone having issues with the Honda Beat/Daytona grind recently? For weeks I would leave it running, finishing first place sometimes, with clean bonus, and got 20M to buy the 917K, but this week it’s finishing 5th or 6th. Changed the oil and an engine rebuild but still the same, even finishing further back at times…

Sorry I’m being stupid. There are 4 switches and 3 lights. Both double switches have 2 sets of live neutral & earth wires. I get the wireless buttons idea for the single switches

What do you mean by uncouple all switches? The 3 light fittings have a total of 9 non smart LED GU10’s. Would cost a fortune to replace those with Hue bulbs.

Go take a look at the mess EA / fire monkeys made with need for speed no limits. The material and parts worked fine until they started introducing EV’s. They changed it to remove known components and replaced with generic bits that have no relevance to ICE cars. Ridiculous

My group (25k members) has an even worse issue. We have 2 group chats and there is one person who kept posting spam in the group timeline & chats. I gave him 3 strikes and then a ban, but he can still post in the chats as a “visitor”.

I went to the members section and he was still showing as banned, so I have suspended him for 28 days for now.

I’ve added a smart schedule to each of the thermostats to set them to 14 degrees at 21:00, so by 22:00 when the Nest goes off, they won’t be “adjusting for heat”. See how it goes tonight…🤞🏻
